Julia's first television appearance was in 1962 with a demonstration on how to cook an omlette. That appearance led to her first television series, The French Chef, and a career that spanned thirty-seven years. She would go on to star in thirteen additional television series and win a myriad of awards.

Building on the success of The French Chef, the equally successful follow-up series called Julia Child & Company is also available. This series incorporates the planning and preparation of a complete meal – featuring two to three dishes per show.
